It’s time to renew your Canadian Dental Care Plan Coverage

(NIPISSING - TIMISKAMING, ON) MP Rochefort is reminding eligible residents to renew their coverage under the Canadian Dental Care Plan to continue receiving affordable, essential oral health care for the upcoming 2026-2027 benefit year.

"Access to dental care is vital to overall health and well-being,"said MP Rochefort. "The Canadian Dental Care Plan is helping families across Nipissing-Timiskaming save money and stay healthy - but it's important that eligible residents renew their coverage before June 1st to keep these benefits."

Canadian Dental Care Plan renewal season opens April 15 - Canada.ca

To requalify for the program and avoid service gaps, they must complete their renewal between April 15 to June 1, 2026.  The renewal process is quick, simple, and accessible, and can be completed either online or by phone.

Constituents who miss the June 1 renewal deadline must reapply as new applicants once the 2026–2027 application period opens. However, coverage will not restart until their new application is approved.

CDCP is a federally delivered public program aimed at making oral health care more affordable and accessible for eligible Canadians. Since its launch, over 6 million Canadians are now covered by the CDCP, while more than 4 million have already received care, saving, on average, $900 annually.
