(TEMISKAMING SHORES, ON) More than 100 constituents joined MP Rochefort for the Official Opening of the new Constituency Office at 65 Whitewood Ave. W., Temiskaming Shores.
"It's our privilege to serve the people of Timiskaming - from Temagami to Englehart to Elk Lake. Thank you to everyone who joined us during the celebration. This new constituency office location is accessible and welcoming. If you need assistance with any federal government program, Amanda and Laila are here to be of service to you," said MP Rochefort.
Constituency Manager Amanda St. Jean and Constituency Assistant Laila Abouzaid provide constituency assistance in both official languages via email, phone calls and in person drop ins.
"We are happy to guide you through the process of dealing with the many different federal departments, programs, and services," she added.
MP Rochefort attends to the needs of riding, both while in the riding and in Ottawa, on issues and opportunities that can strengthen the region in agriculture, business development, mining, forestry as well as housing and supports for seniors and families. Amanda also reaches out to community partners and stakeholders throughout the region on MP Rochefort's behalf.
The office is open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (except holidays) from 8:30 am to 4 pm. The Temiskaming Shores Constituency Office phone is answered by the North Bay office on Thursdays and Fridays.
