Lest We Forget. Nipissing – Timiskaming Remembers.

(NIPISSING—TIMISKAMING/OTTAWA) "Today, on Remembrance Day, we pause as a nation to honour the brave mean and women from Nipissing - Timiskaming who have served - and continue to serve - our country with courage and dedication.  Our local veterans have strengthened Canada through their sacrifice, and their stories continue to inspire us," said MP Pauline Rochefort.

We also recognize the families here at home who supported them through every deployment, challenge and homecoming.  Their resilience is an essential part of Canada's story. Their commitment has safeguarded our freedoms and shaped the Canada we cherish.

On Remembrance Day, MP Rochefort had the honour of laying the federal wreath at the ceremony at Boart Longyear Memorial Gardens in North Bay.

Meanwhile, her office was represented at services in Ottawa and across the Nipissing—Timiskaming riding, including in Temagami, Latchford, Cobalt, Haileybury, New Liskeard, Englehart, Elk Lake, West Ferris, Callander, Powassan, Nipissing First Nation, and Mattawa. Pauline previously attended the ceremonies in Bonfield and East Ferris ahead of November 11.

To all veterans:  we thank you.

Lest we forget. Canada remembers.
